So awful, that you can’t even get away with the term “vintage”.

This is the light fixture in our new dining room/schoolroom.

Every time I see it I think: if the Jetson’s ever bought a summer home, it would look just like this thing.

Needless to say, we’ll be replacing this thing right away.

I would not want it hanging up anywhere in my house, but it *is* sort of a cool fixture.

You could hang little commuter sized spaceships off the bottom, maybe some little robots or stars…

My friends have a house with this really awful old chandlier over their table. Slowly, they are changing things. If they ever get rid of it, I’ll think I’m in the wrong house. You better get rid of it before it becomes a hallmark for people of your house.

I think it’s that kind of ugly where it’s *so ugly it’s cool.* I’d probably keep it around just as a conversation starter.

Of course, I’m one of those people who really enjoy the strange and unusual – even in home furnishings.

My thought: Sell it, it’s cool, retro and I know people out there would love it.
