A little splash of color to brighten the day.

Whereas most kids are experiencing the End of Summer Blahs, here at RegularMom’s Homeschool, we’re dancing on rainbows (after we’re finished drawing them, of course.)

If it were to actually start raining, I’m pretty sure they’d simply grab umbrellas and keep on dancing.

Gene Kelly, eat your heart out.

I love the rainbows and the happy children dancing on them. I so miss the littles I once had, although I totally adore my ‘bigs’.

When my daughter was six, we did a drawing of the solar system (not to scale) in the street with chalk. I wish I had pictures of it.

It’s one of my fondest homeschooling moments… remembering her dancing in circles around the sun, saying, “Look Mom!! I’m orbiting the sun!”

Oh, that is such a great idea! We’ll have to do that one. Maybe next year when we study astronomy.
