It gives me the greatest joy to announce our second winner of the illustrious and most coveted Thinking About Giant Frog Heads Blog Award. Andie, from andthemama has won yet another one of these babies:

for her RIBBITING post, Ribbit Ribbit, a delightful photo array of her adorable child placing an equally adorable toy frog on her head. It’s also pertinent to note that her adorable child’s version of the word froggy is something that actually rhymes with clucking, and someday I’ll tell you all about how, years ago, my 6-year-old used to get nasty looks from waitresses when she asked for a…FORK, PLEASE…ME NEED FORK.
Now, while Andie’s post may not exhibit or even refer to an actual GIANT FROG HEAD, she has done something truly unique, something that is sure to cause an echo of…frogsong…that will be heard throughout the blogosphere for generations to come, and she did it, ladies and gentlemen, not even within the confines of her award-winning blog entry. What is it, you ask? Quite simply, when she notified me of her entry via the comments in a previous post, she used the following sentence:
My blog has frogage.
The minute I read that sentence, I knew, even before clicking to even check her entry, that she had won. I feel quite confident that the phrase “my blog has frogage” will soon join the ranks of other hall-of-fame slogans such as “where’s the beef?” and “it’s the real thing” and “can you hear me now?”
I think we owe it to ourselves to go check our current blogs, eye them critically, and ask ourselves: do our blogs have frogage? And if you find that your blog is lacking in frogage, you know what to do.
Congratulations, Andie, and thanks for expanding our lexicon.
